#litquake

This weekend we experienced writers all over the bay area coming into to San Francisco to share their works. It's an event called LitQuake, and I can't recommend it enough! We went last year, and after having so much fun, we went for round two.

Basically the event consists of multiple bookstores, coffee shops, and bars throughout the Mission being filled with authors and admirers alike. I love it because I get to experience businesses that I might not have before, and because I get to hear these great stories being told.

Each venue has a different genre assigned to it - so for example, last year we went to a bar that had readings ONLY by ex-cons. How interesting is that??
