becoming a lightroom guru

This week I decided to step up my photography game by downloading Adobe Lightroom. Wow, did I go down a rabbit hole. I haven't watched Netflix in TWO nights y'all, so you know I was serious about this.

A few things I've learned: Lightroom is amazing, but insta filters are easier (ok, we already knew that). But really, the internet is amazing.

I usually tend to try to teach things to myself without seeking advice (pro or con? good thing this isn't a job interview). This time I swallowed my pride and immersed myself in Youtube and photography blogs. You guys, you don't have to teach yourselves! People have made videos to teach you everything! Ok ok, welcome to 2017 for me.

Anyway, I've included a few before/after shots that I edited - still so much to learn, but maybe someday I'll be able to show you guys my own tricks to edit a photo. Until then, I highly recommend going here :)
